Maybe? Perhaps too main stream for your show perhaps. But it definitely evokes an intensely sad response whenever I listen to it.

@Laurel - I have been meaning to play a Tom Waits song for a couple of weeks, it is totally in the queue. Maybe not that one though because it's so short, even though it is great.
